About a year ago my best friend asked me to do a self love challenge with her. At first I was hesitant, not really sure what I was going to get out of it, but I decided to be her accountability buddy and try it anyway. Admittedly, I did not finish the challenge, but looking back at the journal prompts I did write has inspired me to give it another go! In reflecting back to last year I know that I gained so much from this challenge so during these difficult times I wanted to do it again. Quarantine, jobs, relationships, and all the other things that are going on right now are likely taking a toll on you (cause boy are they for me!) that you are not even aware. So join me this week. Set aside an hour for yourself and let's get to work!
Journal each day using the prompt given.
Post a pic on instagram that accompanies the prompt (not required)
Complete at least 30 minutes of some physical activity that makes you feel good. That could be yoga, running, taking a walk, doing an online dance class. Whatever it is, just make sure you are moving intentionally for at least 30 minutes.
Journal Prompt: List 20 things about YOU that make you smile.
It's easy to point out all the things we don't like about ourselves. We do it from the time we wake up and look in the mirror until we go to bed. But can you tell me when was the last time you sat down and said I love me for this reason?
